3D.images in laser supermicroscope.

Overcoming as regards investigation to the images obtained by tomography of magnetic (MRI) resonance that doesn't provide cellular resolution and to the unidimensional visualization of tissue slices, researchers of the Institute Max Planck of Germany led by Hans-Ulrich Dodt and Ulrich Leischner (Nature Method) have just presented an ultramicroscope that combining simple light, light blue laser and autofluorescence, allows to see full transparent 3D images (of high resolution, assembled by computers), of brains of mices, conditioned previously with oleaginous substances, not existing necessity to carry out tissue slices. The technique allows to visualize whole neuronal nets in intact brains. It also allows to identify intact marked neurons, dentritic trees and isolated hippocampus areas coming from experimentation animals.

Superando en materia de investigación a las imágenes obtenidas por tomografia de resonancia magnetica (MRI), que no proporciona resolución celular y a la visualización unidimensional de cortes tisulares, investigadores del Instituto Max Planck de Alemania liderados por Hans-Ulrich Dodt y Ulrich Leischner (Natur Method), acaban de presentar un ultramicroscopio que combinando luz simple, luz laser azul y autofluorescencia, permite ver imágenes tridimensionales (dealta resolución, ensambladas por ordenadores), de cerebros trasparentes totales de ratón acondicionados previamente con sustancias oleaginosas, no existiendo necesidad de realizar cortes. La técnica permite visualizar redes neuronales enteras en cerebros intactos. Además permite identificar neuronas intactas marcadas, árboles dentriticos y áreas de hipocampo aisladas de animales de experimentación.
